Electric Guitar Fender Squier Classic Vibe 70S Jaguar IL 3 Color Sunburst
The Jaguar Squier Classic Vibe 70S guitar has a larger volume than the original Fender model from the 1970s, thanks to the single-coil pickups Fender design. It retains a retro look and has incredible sound. Guitarists with smaller hands will appreciate the shorter length of the fretboard and the C-neck profile, thin and comfortable. This model has a 3 color sunburst finish.
The Jaguar Squier Classic Vibe 70S is the modern interpretation of the Fender electric guitar.
There are unique guitars and the Fender Jaguar is one of the most distinctive guitars you can find. From its unique shape to the controls that give it enormous versatility, it's a guitar for musicians looking for style and originality.
Jaguar Squier is part of the Classic Vibe series, which recovers the original concept of Fender models using modern materials and technology to manufacture more precise and quality instruments that satisfy the most demanding musicians, at a very affordable price.
The difference is immediately noticeable in the sound. The two Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups deliver more volume without sacrificing definition and tone. The sound is controlled by switches and potentiometers with specific functions: Circuit Selector Switch, Rhythm Circuit Volume and Tone, Lead Circuit Volume and Tone, Pickup On/Off Switches, Tone Circuit Switch. It also has another special circuit to complement the main one: Specially-Voiced Rhythm, Lead Circuit Controls, Tone Circuit Switch.
The Squier Jaguar Classic Vibe 70S has a poplar body and a maple neck. The fingerboard is 22 frets and is made of Indian laurel. A detail to take into account is the measurement of the neck: it is shorter and, with a radius of 9.5”, it is very comfortable and easy to play, especially if the guitarist has small hands.
The retro look of the Squier Jaguar Classic Vibe 70S is enhanced with the tremolo and floating bridge, as well as the vintage-style chimes, which preserve the style and definition of the original model. It also features a classic three-tone sunburst finish.
The Jaguar was a more expensive model from Fender intended to stand up to other competing models. Smaller, with a scale of 22 frets, the Jaguar had as its main difference a more complex, elaborate electronics and different pickups from the other Fender models.
It gained popularity in the 60's in the hands of Carl Wilson from the Beach Boys and several surf music guitarists and, in the mid 70's, it resurfaced on stage in the midst of the punk movement, by musicians captivated by the powerful sound and angular lines of Jaguar. In the 1990s, it was popularized by Kurt Cobain while leading Nirvana. Its sonic characteristics were perfect for heavy styles, with distortion, big presence, and darker tones. In recent decades it has also served many indie musicians.
If you like original electric guitars with a distinctive look and versatile sound, the Squier Jaguar Classic Vibe 70S is the guitar for you.
