Welcome to Salão Musical de Lisboa, your musical instruments and equipment store. Founded in 1958 by António José Fernandes da Costa, was set up mainly to repair and make wind musical instruments.
In its early years, civilian and army band musicians considered it a reference for the technical assistance provided.
The 70s saw the setting up of our technical assistance workshop for acoustic pianos, as well as the growth in imports, sales and distribution of reputable musical instrument brands.
Nowadays, and apart from the store located in Chiado, one of most cosmopolitan areas of the Portuguese capital, on Rua da Oliveira ao Carmo, 2 (Largo do Carmo), in Lisbon the client has the option of visiting the online store at www.salaomusical.com where musical instruments and musical equipment of a vast and varied spectrum of products and brands can be bought just like in the street store.
Music editions, wind instruments, bow instruments (violins, cellos, string basses), upright, grand pianos and digital pianos, electric pianos, percussion instruments, audio, electric, electro-acoustic, classic and folk guitars, accordions, traditional Portuguese instruments, specifically the Portuguese guitar, the fado viola, the Cavaquinho, mandolin, bandola, banjo, acoustic bass, as well as regional violas (beiroa, braguesa, rajão, campaniça, toeira, amarantina and viola da terra), beginners musical instruments (ORFF) and a vast range of accessories.
