The Gretsch G2420 Streamliner™ Single Cutaway Cadillac Greeen is an electric guitar that features a classic jazz design for modern guitarists.
The Gretsch G2420 Streamliner exudes class from the first moment we look at it. It is a large, hollow-body guitar, with electronics capable of producing a powerful sound, but capable of transmitting all the subtlety of the most accomplished guitarists.
The arched body shapes of the Gretsch G2420 are made of laminated maple from bottom to top, supported by parallel beams that give it strength and solidity. The neck is in nato, with a smooth C profile, with a scale of 22 medium jumbo frets.
The shades of the Cadillac Green pattern give it great personality and the F-shaped cutouts provide a characteristic sound for these models. The nail guard is brown and fits perfectly into the overall look of the guitar, as do the gold buttons and the chrome shine of the hardware, particularly the Adjusto-Matic bridge set in rosewood and the Chromatic II fixing piece, which results in a harmonious and very eye-catching set.
The modernized electronics of the Gretsch G2420 combined with its elegant and efficient construction make it the carrier of the great Gretsch sound. The secret lies in its Broad'Tron™ pickups, two humbuckers that give it a consistent and warm tone, with great output, allowing it to perfectly execute subtle dynamics in clean sound as well as enter more aggressive and distorted sound paths.
