Whether you're thinking of going on vacation, or if you're always on the move and need to have your guitar with you, the APC TR100 NY is a quality, practical and affordable choice.
With a more compact format than standard-sized guitars, the APC TR100 NY is a nylon string guitar that also allows smaller guitarists to have a more comfortable experience. Unlike other smaller guitars, the APC TR100 NY follows standard E tuning.
Built in Portugal by APC, the APC TR100 NY travel guitar has a spruce top, with an open pore finish that protects the wood for a long time, respecting its natural characteristics.
The bottom and sides are made of sapele, a wood native to West Africa that is denser than mahogany, which gives it a brighter sound while maintaining a consistent and balanced tone.
The APC TR100 NY is 66 cm long in total, well below the traditional 100 cm. The body is also narrower, but produces a sound with good volume and definition to accompany other guitars and acoustic instruments or vocals.
APC was founded in 1976 by António Pinto Carvalho, who comes from a century-old school of luthiers in Porto. The company has around 45 artisans who build different types of traditional Portuguese chordophones and those from other origins.
APC is the largest national company in this field, producing and selling instruments to more than twenty countries. All instruments are manufactured in Portugal and sold worldwide.
The APC TR100 NY is a guitar to take everywhere and play whenever you have the opportunity, whether it's when you go to the beach, camping, while waiting for the train or plane, or to always have it handy in a corner when inspiration strikes.
