The Chord Sequencer feature allows you to improvise and develop melodies over chord progressions that automatically follow the accompaniment.

They can also connect a microphone and sing with real-time voice effects and harmonies through the microphone input, eliminating imperfections with the compressor and noise suppressor. Add another dimension to your voice with rich ambiance and voice morphing effects that can change gender or give a robotic tone. The vocoder effect helps create vintage electronic voices and chorus sounds that can be controlled with the keyboard.

The FP-E50's advanced features are easy to access and highly configurable. The display lets you navigate through the instrument's options intuitively, presenting essential information from selecting tones and favorite tones to keyboard transposition and more. They can also save settings or modify in-depth parameters without complicated menus, and the Scenes function allows you to instantly access complete settings for the entire keyboard with a single touch.

The Bluetooth connection allows you to connect the FP-E50 to your cell phone or tablet and stream songs from the music library wirelessly to the keyboard's sound system, watch piano videos on the internet. The Bluetooth MIDI system allows you to work with music production applications such as Roland Zenbeats, among others.

The Roland FP-E50 also has an audio recorder that allows you to record your songs, including automatic accompaniment, left hand, right hand and vocals.

The internal stereo sound system projects immersive sound and can be connected to external speakers or headphones.
