A powerful controller the Roland DJ-505 with two channels and deck selection for up to four decks. Large, low-latency platters optimized for scratching. It includes eight dedicated control pads for Serato DJ, offering Hot Cue, Roll, Slicer, TR, Pattern, and Sampler modes.
This controller features internal, editable drum kits from Roland's legendary TR-808, TR-909, TR-606*, and TR-707* with cutting-edge ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology. Shape TR drum sounds and Serato samples on the fly with Level, Attack, Decay, and Tune knobs.
Additionally, it comes with a classic 16-step sequencer that can trigger TR drum sounds or Serato samples, with new functions including nudge (TR-S), step-roll, and instrument/sample mute. Unlock Serato DJ and includes the Serato Tool Kit license (includes Serato Pitch ‘n Time DJ, Serato Flip, and all Serato DJ FX packs).
The mixer can be used standalone with connection to multiple players or vinyl turntables via line and phono inputs; Ready for Serato DVS upgrade. It features balanced XLR outputs for connection to professional PA systems; Booth output and separate 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch outputs for Phones allow mix monitoring. It also has a microphone input with gate, high-pass filter, reverb, and echo effects, and MIDI output for syncing with external equipment with Serato DJ and TR-S sequencer.
*The sounds from TR-606 and TR-707 requires a user firmware upgrade.
