The Ibanez RGB300 bass has a solid poplar body with a double cutaway shape. The neck is in maple, with RGB format, very comfortable for intensive use. The fingerbaoard is in jatobá, a species native to South and Central America, and features markers in the shape of shark teeth, characteristic of Ibanez instruments.

The Ibanez RGB300's pickups are passive, in a combination of a Dynamix P misaligned mid-body and a Dynamix J in the bridge. The pickups can be controlled independently, allowing for greater sonic versatility and a very rich tone.
