Description

The Takamine GN20CE-NS is an electro-acoustic guitar ideal for accompanying voice. NEX body, an original Takamine format.

Takamine is one of the most prestigious guitar brands in the music industry, recognized for its high quality acoustic and electroacoustic guitars. With a unique design, the guitars of the Japanese brand are distinguished even in the smallest details.

The Takamine GN20CE-NS CW is a guitar that well represents Takamine's progressive ideas. The body is an original format of the brand, designated as NEX which is basically a Jumbo format but on a smaller scale, with cutaway for better access to higher notes. This design allows for a present and very smooth sound, great to accompany voices, with confidence and definition, and in any style.

The chosen woods are of choice: for the body, solid cedar was chosen for the top and, for the sides, mahogany. The satin finish allows the tones and characteristics of the wood to maintain its natural appearance.

The neck is also in mahogany, and the fingerboard is in ovangkol, an African wood similar to rosewood. The ergonomic design of the neck of Takamine guitars is almost unique: molded in an asymmetrical C, thinner in the upper half, so that it fits perfectly in the guitarist's hand. This gives greater comfort and an exceptional running experience.

Takamine's acoustic sound is warm and very defined and thanks to the TP-4TD pre-amplification system designed by the brand, it gains another dimension, without losing fidelity. The TP-4TD system has bass, mid and treble controls, a gain knob, and built-in tuner. The 9 volt battery is placed in the pre-amplification module, unlike other brands that create yet another cut in the body for this purpose.

The Takamine GN20CE-NS has other special features: the ropes are not pinned to the bridge, for a quicker and more efficient exchange. The intonation is almost perfect thanks to the split bridge system, in which the Si and Mi strings have a different support from the others, in a design that compensates for the tension and distance that affect these two strings and that the joined bridges do not solve perfectly. .

Takamine has been manufacturing guitars since 1951 and since then has been at the forefront of producing musical instruments with innovative features and high quality.

The Takamine GN20CE-NS is an electro-acoustic guitar with a sonic presence in acoustic or amplified mode, and an appearance comparable to its sound. Easy to play, it is very pleasant to the touch, giving a great feeling of solidity and reliability.

The GN20CE-NS is a guitar with unique features, for musicians who like to stand out.
