Takamine GN10-NS is a modern guitar that follows the unique and advanced design of the Japanese brand. The body is designed in the brand's original format, designated as NEX, a Jumbo format reduced to a smaller scale. This design offers unique and very interesting acoustic characteristics. The GN10-NS has a present and very smooth sound, great for any musical style.
The top is in spruce, and mahogany was used for the back, sides and neck, which gives it a balanced and full sound. The fingerboard is in ovangkol, an African wood similar to rosewood. The neck is thin, for great comfort and an exceptional playing experience, especially with a pick.
The bridge, in synthetic bone, is single support, unlike other models of the brand, and the strings are held by pins. Tuning stability is guaranteed by the high quality and durable chrome tuners.
