Electroacoustic Guitar Ibanez AAD170CE LGS Dreadnought Natural
Ibanez has been working to reinvent the dreadnought format, striving for the pinnacle of rich sound, punchy bass and full sound. The new body shape is called the Grand Dreadnought. Proportionally, the Grand Dreadnought's body is 5% larger than a standard dreadnought. That's what you'll find in this Ibanez AAD170CE LGS Natural.
The Ibanez AAD170CE LGS is a semi-acoustic guitar with Grand Dreadnought format, an innovation of the Japanese brand. It is a guitar of enormous quality and unique features at a very affordable price.
The most common shape of acoustic guitars is the Dreadnought, but Ibanez wanted to go further and give all guitarists an even richer, stronger and fuller sound with the Grand Dreadnought, which is 5% larger than the standard Dreadnought. This new format allows even more volume and the ability to be heard even better, with greater definition, whether in acoustic or amplified mode, in addition to improving the guitar's ergonomics.
The Ibanez AAD170CE LGS has a solid sitka spruce body and an okoume back and sides for a warm, generous sound. The top support braces are X-M Bracing, the result of decades of Ibanez research into better acoustic response and structural strength. Cross-beams transmit string vibration efficiently from the bridge to the body. X-M Bracing brings out the crisp highs and warm mids, delivering a wide range of frequencies.
The straight and deep design cutaway (from the 18th fret) allows easier access to higher notes. With superior sound projection, the Ibanez AAD170CE LGS is an excellent guitar for soloists who want to stand out among other instruments.
The neck of the Ibanez AAD170CE LGS is in nato, Thermo Aged™, with an oval profile with an Ovangkol fingerboard with rounded edges for a more comfortable touch. The head shape is a new Ibanez design, also the result of years of research and development. It has a conical shape, which reduces weight and maintains the balance of the instrument. This design allows for perfect string alignment, with no deviation between the nut and the tuning machunes, which increases tuning stability and reduces any twisting effect on the neck.
The Ibanez AAD170CE LGS has a magnetic AP11 pickup placed between the soundhole and the neck. This small, lightweight pickup is positioned so as not to inhibit the natural vibrations of the top wood, generating a highly responsive sound across all frequencies. The sound is transparent and reflects the guitar's natural acoustic tone and also works well with effects such as Reverb and Chorus.
The string pegs use the Advantage system, a more practical and reliable design that allows not only for faster string changes, but also for better hold. Pins are easier to remove thanks to the rounded top that keeps them secure, vibration-free.
The Ibanez AAD170CE LGS is an innovative and unique guitar at a highly competitive price, perfect for musicians who want to innovate in the sound of their music.
