Built with the best materials, the P159 Bora Demichippendale has the sound quality and musical potential that the Czech brand has already accustomed us to. With a distinct melodious sound and a surprisingly powerful volume, it is hard to believe that we are facing a piano of such reduced dimensions: 159 cm long, and 152 cm wide. Petrof has produced an exceptional and valuable instrument for demanding musicians, using the same technology and components it uses to make its concert pianos.
Bora series pianos are surprising for being so small and producing a high quality sound. All components were manufactured and assembled in Europe, with 80% of the work done by the hands of experienced artisans.
Petrof has been manufacturing pianos since 1864, exporting to more than 65 countries. All instruments are manufactured in the Czech Republic, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fully European piano. 80% of the manufacturing process is done by hand, with a careful choice of materials, which gives them an enormous quality of construction.
Petrof uses wood carefully selected and processed in its factory, to guarantee the highest quality standards. The choice of specific types of wood is the result of many years of experience, ensuring that each component is made of the most suitable material.
Petrof's frames are made of cast iron in damp sand molds, a process that allows for a greater density of the metal, resulting in a much more defined sound, used only by manufacturers who still resort to artisanal techniques in the construction of their instruments.
Each piano takes about 9 months to build, and its certificate indicates the names of the artisans who participated in its manufacture, reflecting the work and dedication of each one of them in representing more than 150 years of experience.
Petrof also promotes development projects with universities and research centers to innovate its instruments. The result is high-quality pianos, very popular with great pianists for their delicate and romantic sound.
The Petrof P159 Bora Demichippendale is a Baby Grand that transcends its dimensions, with a rich performance and great capability.
