Connect to the mains with the GC CW Classic's electroacoustic guitalele from APC. With cutaway to reach the highest notes.
Prepare your amplifiers, large or small: the GC CW Classic Guitalele from APC looks like a toy guitar but is a real instrument. It is the best of four worlds: it is played like a guitar but it sounds like a ukulele, and it can be played in acoustic or amplified mode.
APC manufactured this guitalele in solid koa, a wood of a species of acacia from Hawaii that is widely used in the manufacture of instruments from the American islands, known for its resistance and acoustic qualities. The neck is made of mahogany, and the natural appearance of the wood gives it a fantastic appearance.
With a bold and very modern design, the GC CW Classic guitalele is little bigger than a normal ukulele. It has 19 frets that can be fully accessed thanks to the cutaway profile, making it perfect for the most virtuous to show off their technical skills.
So that they can be heard loud and clear, the GC CW Classical Guitalele has a built-in preamp, with bass and midrange adjustment plus volume control, to capture the clear and defined sound of this instrument perfectly. The preamplifier also includes a tuner to always be on the right note.
Between the guitar and the ukulele, the guitalele is a mini nylon string guitar to take seriously, everywhere. It has the dimensions of a baritone ukulele, and is played like a standard guitar, since the tuning is a fourth above the traditional tuning of the guitar: A - G - G - C - E - A. In other words, it is as if they played a guitar tuned normally but with a transponder on the fifth fret, or on a ukulele with two more bass strings.
And it is manufactured in Portugal, by APC. This company was founded in 1976 by António Pinto Carvalho, who descended from a century-old school of luthiers in Porto. The company has about 45 artisans who build several types of traditional Portuguese and other origins. APC is the largest national company in this field, producing and selling instruments to more than twenty countries.
Stand out with the electrified guitalele GC CW Classic, and show that you are not playing with a quality instrument.
