Tradition calls for a bass drum to mark the pace and time of pilgrimages, and there is no drum more traditional than MMG Nº0. Made with hoops and wooden hull, this handmade bass drum has a natural 25 cm skin, tuned by a sisal rope system.

With a typical sound, this bass drum is also a treat for the view, being available in different colors - green, blue, orange or yellow - that add more joy to the classic aspect of this instrument.

Easy to transport due to its small dimensions, the traditional bass drum MMG Nº0 can be transported by younger percussionists who want to join the party and help preserve the customs and traditions of their land.

MMG bombs are handcrafted in Portugal, more specifically in Ermesinde, in the municipality of Valongo. Since 1943, the Oficina de Artesanato César manufactures traditional percussion instruments, such as drums, timbrels, drums, reco-recos and tambourines. Today, under the direction of Manuel Moreira Gonçalves, the Oficina de Artesanato César makes traditional musical instruments and also wooden toys, which it sells to countries like Spain, Holland and Germany.
