Description

The Hohner Big Valley is a tremolo harmonica that evokes the great outdoors and folklore of the American West. Tuning in D.

Ride off into the sunset to the sound of the Hohner Big Valley, a perfect instrument for those just starting out in the world of tremolo harmonica, and to take everywhere.

The Hohner Big Valley is a tremolo harmonica, a type of harmonica that uses two reeds for each note, which are slightly out of tune, which gives it a pulsating sound typical of American folk. It's not an ideal harmonica for jazz or blues.

With 48 reeds spread over 24 double holes, the Big Valley has an enormous tonal richness, whether played note by note or in chords, regardless of the register, with great definition in both bass and treble. It has Richter tuning and a tonal range of three and a half octaves.

The Hohner Big Valley has a black ABS comb, protected by two stainless steel plates, decorated with American West motifs. Of great build quality, like all Hohner harmonicas, the Big Valley has a traditional design that feels good in the hand, with very attractive and high quality finishes. The blades are in brass.

With a present and very defined sound, the Hohner Big Valley is an inspiring harmonica for all those who admire the soundscapes associated with Westerns and life in the Wilderness of North America.

Founded in 1857 in Germany, Hohner is one of the world's leading manufacturers of musical instruments, specializing in accordions, electromechanical keyboards and wind instruments such as harmonicas. Any Hohner instrument is synonymous with German quality and precision.

Head west to the sound of the Hohner Big Valley.
