Description

The Hohner diatonic harmonica in A, series Pro Harp, is the harmonica indicated for playing rock. They can not even imagine how much power they can hold in your pocket.

For blues or rock, the Hohner diatonic A harmonic is an excellent choice for musicians looking for a reliable, sturdy instrument with a projection that can be heard in the middle of a set of electrified instruments without sacrificing its expressiveness.

Pro Harp series harmonicas have a black plastic comb, robust black black lacquer cases and brass vane. Not only do these components give harmonicas great looks, they also deliver powerful sound.

Pleasant to the touch and easy to handle, its finishes make it feel like a great instrument. Its sturdy construction allows for intense use, keeping it fresh for a long time.

This harmonica is diatonic, which means that it has 10 inputs and an extension of three octaves. Also known as a blues harmonica, the blades are arranged to allow the individual execution of each note on the larger diatonic scale.

Another characteristic of this harmonica is the standard Richter tuning, which allows the execution of melody and harmony, being possible to play the tonic and dominant chords in the lower part of the harmonica and the notes of the scale sequentially, alternating blowing and aspiration.

Some of the rock musicians who use a diatonic harmonica in their songs are Neil Young, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, just to name the most legendary.

Harmonicas have their roots in China almost five thousand years ago, but it was a German watchmaker who invented his modern version. But it was 30 years before another watchmaker, named Hohner, began to produce them in mass, initiating a fantastic history in the manufacture of musical instruments.

Founded in 1857 in Germany, Hohner is one of the world's leading manufacturers of musical instruments, specializing in accordions, electromechanical keyboards and wind instruments as harmonics. Any Hohner instrument is synonymous with Germanic quality and accuracy.
