Kazoo Schwarz 0 06 in Metal Supreme
The body of the kazoo has a flat tubular shape, made of metal, with a central hole closed by a tissue paper that vibrates with the player's voice. The kazoo does not emit sound with simple breathing, but requires the vibration of the vocal cords, which is why it is more correct to talk about 'singing' in the kazoo than about 'blowing'.
In 1679, the Schwarz family in Molln started the production of berimbaus and has continued for 13 generations, where the company has been continuously family owned.
Currently, the Schwarz family produces excellent quality berimbaus, in addition to tuned bells, ocarinas, flexatones and pan flutes, and exports to over 40 different countries around the world.
The berimbau is used in folk and house music, as well as jazz and modern music. That's why Schwarz specializes in hand instruments.
