Pedal Boss DD 3T Digital Delay

The BOSS DD-3T is the modern version of one of the most influential effects pedals in music history.

Since 1986, BOSS Digital Delay has been one of the must-have effects for creative guitarists. The BOSS DD-3 has been given new life and functionality in the updated DD-3T version, while retaining the original shape and sound.

On the BOSS DD-3T you can set the delay times using the internal switch or an external one, with three time subdivisions to choose from. Knob mode defines the tap subdivision (quarter-note triplet, dotted-eighth note or quarter note).

In Delay mode, you can switch between bypass and tap by pressing the pedal switch for two seconds. To control the tap - that is, the delay speed up to 800 ms of tempo - you can use an external pedal, connecting it to the Tempo input.

With simple to use controls, it is a simple and very intuitive operation pedal. They have an effect level knob, a feedback knob to adjust the intensity, and a time knob if you want to adjust it manually and in real time for greater expression.

They also have a selector that allows you to choose between four delay durations: Short (50ms), Medium (200ms), Long (800ms) and Short Loop. Short Loop is an evolution of the Hold function, which allowed to capture a sound with up to 800 ms to be played continuously while playing over it. This idea was later applied to Loop Station products, which helped create musical styles based on live looping.

The DD-3T includes a direct output jack like the DD-3, and a main output. Direct Out lets you send reverberant, dry signals to different amps for vast, immersive sounds. They can also connect the Direct Out to the amplifier's loop channel, to project only the Delay effect. The Output transmits the guitar signal mixed with the effect.
