The Ibanez THBB10 Tim Henson Signature Guitar has the perfect tone to go from the aggressive sounds of metal and progressive rock to the clean timbres of funk and R&B, and even complex melodies to hip hop.
The body is in American linden and the neck is in maple, with an oval C-shaped AZ cutout, which allows easy access to the highest notes. The fingerboard is also in maple, darkened, maintaining the black character of this instrument.
The 24-fret fingerboard has rectangular acrylic and abalone markers, and fluorescent dots on the side of the fretboard. Jumbo stainless steel frets are tall and wide for greater articulation and isolation of each note. It's very comfortable to play so you can explore and express the complex and fast lines typical of Tim Henson and create your own.
To be perfectly in tune, the Ibanez THBB10 has a Gotoh tremolo bridge and locking tuners (locking tuners) of the same brand model MG-T, in gold, chosen specifically by Henson.
The DiMarzio Notorious pickups are also signed by Tim Henson and have the SSH configuration. The passive alnico single coils deliver a classic single coil sound near the neck and mid-body that's warmer and more defined, and the mini passive ceramic humbucker near the bridge gives a more consistent sound without being too present.
