The Vintera series is a return to what Fender did best in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The pickups are practically the same as the original models and the style has been maintained from the color to the body cutout to the neck profile, giving the feeling of playing one of these historic models.
This series synthesizes the best that was done in each of these decades for each of the Stratocaster, Telecaster and Precision Bass models, in configurations that replicate everything from the rock sound of the 50s to the funk of the 70s.
The Fender Vintera® II '70s Stratocaster® respects all the classic characteristics of Fender from the 70s. The body is in alder and the neck is in maple, with a "U" shaped profile as was typical in models of the 70s. 70. The fingerboard features vintage high frets.
The sound of the Fender Vintera II is captured by three 70s vintage style Single-Coil Strat® pickups, which offer the typical Strat tone versatility, ranging from sweet and bright to warm and woody. Synchronized tremolo allows for greater expression without going out of tune thanks to classic-looking tuners.
