This Hannabach 800MT string set is a medium tension set for classical guitar. The 800 series was Hannabach's first advancement in the production of classical guitar strings. The success of these strings led Hannabach to specialize in classical guitar strings, rather than producing strings for other types of guitars. The 800 Series bass drums are wrapped with silver-plated copper wire around nylon multifilament, producing a bright but non-intrusive sound. The treble strings, made of high-density nylon, provide the typical, slightly damped sound of nylon strings.
