Artimúsica fue fundada en 1992 y se dedica a la construcción artesanal de instrumentos tradicionales portugueses. El método tradicional de construcción que aún hoy forma la base de este arte de la manufactura fue iniciado hace más de 100 años por el maestro Joaquim José Machado. Hoy, sus descendientes construyen cada instrumento como si fuera una verdadera obra de arte, haciendo que cada cordofono sea único, de gran calidad y enormemente musical.
