Description

Find the right vibe with Gewa's 300G Tibetan bowl and enter a zen state.

Tibetan singing bowls are a musical instrument from the idiophone family. They are part of a group of instruments called singing bowls, which produce sound when struck with a drumstick.

The Gewa 300g is a Tibetan bowl weighing 250g to 300g, measuring around 10cm in diameter, made from an alloy of different metals. It has a felt ring so it can vibrate freely and a wooden drumstick to make it vibrate.

Tibetan singing bowls can produce five sounds simultaneously, maintaining vibration for several minutes, which makes them a unique musical instrument with therapeutic effects. The sound of the Tibetan bowl is unmistakable and highly relaxing, and the most skilled performers are able to create a unique environment of spiritual openness and relaxation.

The origins of Tibetan bowls are a little obscure but they are thought to have originated in Mesopotamia more than 5,000 years ago and reached the regions of Tibet, Nepal and India. They are used in rituals and practices associated with meditation and yoga. The sound is rich, prolonged and very pleasant. And they are also an excellent decorative object.

GEWA is a German brand founded in 1925, with a great tradition in the construction of acoustic instruments. It is a company rich in tradition that strives to uphold the principles firmly founded in the company's history, which produces acoustic-mechanical musical instruments, among others, always with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Whether as a guide for a deep meditation or to add to an existing collection, the Gewa 300g Tibetan bowl is more than a musical instrument, it is a beautiful object for its simplicity and the sound it produces.
