Important note: before placing the strings, check that the nut grooves are not excessively deep, that they are perfectly smooth and have no sharp or sharp edges or angles. Nylgut strings are sensitive to cuts.
To quickly obtain perfect tuning stability, it is advisable, when tightening, to pull each string parallel to the soundboard around the mouth of the cuatro. Stop pulling when you notice the string stops stretching.
