This electrified Stentor Student II 4/4 violin is based on the Student II 4/4 model and is factory fitted with an Artec piezo pickup. It is an excellent solution for violinists who play in conjunction with other amplified instruments.
The Stentor Student II was designed with reliability in mind. Like the mythological figure after which the brand is named, it has great sound projection thanks to its solid wood construction. The top is solid spruce, and the neck, back and sides are maple, giving it a rich sound and reliable performance. The fingerboard is ebony, as are the fingerpins, and the strings are securely attached to a tailpiece with integral adjusters.
The care taken in the construction of this instrument is apparent in the end result: an affordable, good quality violin, with careful and aesthetically appealing ornamentation, finished in golden brown lacquer.
When you purchase the Stentor Student II you also receive a good quality horsehair bow, and a lightweight case for carrying and protecting the instrument, with pockets for accessories and staves, and straps for added comfort.
